This policy explains what information The Window Guys LLC ("we," "us") collects when you use windowguysmn.com, request a quote, contact us, or enter our monthly giveaway — and what we do with it. We've written it in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

Information you give us directly. When you request a quote, book an estimate, call or email us, or enter the giveaway, we collect what you provide: your name, email address, phone number, property address, date of birth (giveaway entries only, to verify age), details about your windows and your project, and any photos you send us of your home.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours may collect basic technical information — browser type, device type, pages visited, and general location derived from your IP address — through standard analytics tools.

What we use it for

• Preparing quotes and performing window installation work you've asked about;
• Administering the monthly giveaway — verifying eligibility, contacting winners, keeping the entry records the law requires us to keep;
• Responding when you contact us;
• Sending marketing messages only if you separately opted in — entering the giveaway or requesting a quote does not subscribe you to marketing, and you can unsubscribe at any time;
• Improving our website and services;
• Complying with legal, tax, licensing, and record-keeping obligations.

What we don't do

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business — our customer-relationship platform, email and text delivery services, form processors, payment and financing partners (only when you apply for financing), and window manufacturers (only what's needed to order your windows). These providers may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it — for example, giveaway entry records requested by an authorized Minnesota state agency.

How long we keep it

Quote and customer records are kept as long as needed for warranty, licensing, tax, and legal purposes. Giveaway entry records are kept for a minimum of one year after each drawing, as required by our Official Rules and Minnesota guidance.

Your choices

• Marketing: Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; reply STOP to any marketing text. Opting out of marketing does not affect quotes, jobs, or giveaway entries.
• Access and deletion: You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll honor deletion requests except where we're required to keep records (for example, giveaway entries within the retention period, or records tied to completed work). Contact us using the details below.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we limit access to people who need it to do their jobs.

Children

Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and our giveaway requires entrants to be 18 or older.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
